Web applications
Customer portals, dashboards, internal tools. We design the data model, build the app, and connect it to the systems you already run.
Software development studio · Chișinău · Since 2005
Ladela Interactive is a software development studio in Chișinău. We build web applications and business software for companies across the US and Europe — and Bookly, one of the best-selling booking plugins for WordPress. Twenty years in, we still write the code ourselves.
Our story
Ladela Interactive starts as a small web development shop, building custom software for companies in the US and Europe.
Back when it was still called oDesk. The first contracts are small — templates, forums, bug fixes — and we treat them like they matter. Those clients come back.
The contracts get bigger: multi-year Symfony platforms, a long-running medical application, e-commerce, maintenance retainers. Clients who stay with us for years.
After years of building scheduling features for other people, we release Bookly — a booking plugin for WordPress. It takes off, and turns a services shop into a product company.
Bookly is one of the best-selling booking plugins for WordPress, still in active development. The studio runs the product full-time and takes on a few client projects a year — the kind we know we can do well.
What we do
We keep our range narrow on purpose. These are the areas we have worked in for years and know well.
Customer portals, dashboards, internal tools. We design the data model, build the app, and connect it to the systems you already run.
CRM, inventory, booking, billing. The quiet software that keeps a company organized, shaped around how your team actually works.
Online stores and everything behind them: catalogs, checkout, payments, and the links to your warehouse and accounting.
We have built and sold WordPress products for years, including our own booking plugin. If your business runs on WordPress, we know it.
Getting your tools to talk to each other: payment providers, calendars, CRMs, shipping, and whatever else is in the stack.
We stay with the software after launch. Fixes, updates, and small improvements, without the drama of finding a new team every year.
Work
Long engagements for clients in healthcare, travel, SaaS and e-commerce — and a product of our own. Our full work history, with client reviews, is public on our Upwork profile.
Our own product
A booking plugin for WordPress that we launched in 2014 and still develop today — one of the best-selling booking plugins on CodeCanyon. Salons, clinics, schools and studios all over the world run their appointments on it. It taught us the difference between shipping a project and keeping software alive for twelve years.
A year and a half inside an N-tier medical application — the kind of system where the details are regulated, not optional.
A single engagement that kept growing for two years. Architecture, features, and the unglamorous work of keeping a live product stable.
An ongoing development retainer that ran for years. Retainers only last that long when the work holds up.
Senior backend work on a client platform — steady weekly delivery for over a year, and a five-star review at the end.
Online flight ticket sales across three contracts — catalog, checkout, payments, and the integrations behind them.
Two and a half years of front-end work on an advanced interactive map site, across two parallel contracts.
…and about a hundred more over the years.
About
We are small and stay that way on purpose. The people who scope your project are the people who write the code, so nothing gets lost in a handoff.
Twenty years in, we have seen most of the ways software projects go wrong. And because we run our own product, we know what it takes to keep software alive for a decade — not just to ship it.
Over the years we have worked in healthcare, finance, travel, and retail, where the details are not optional and someone has to sweat them.
How we work
Twenty years of client work distilled into three habits. They are not complicated — they are just kept.
Before we write a line, you get the plan in writing: what we are building, what it costs, when it ships. If anything changes, you hear it from us first — with options, not excuses.
Working software from the first weeks, not slide decks. You try it, we adjust. Course corrections happen early, while they are cheap — not after the deadline.
Launch is not the finish line. We maintain what we build — fixes, updates, improvements. Bookly has run for twelve years on exactly that discipline.
